I go to the mall (which I hate doing, because it’s the second largest mall in America), and automatically hit up the Betsey Johnson store. I know I want to buy my best girl friend a new bag for Christmas. She lives out of state, and they don’t have a store there, so it’s always nice to pick her up something. I end up getting her a brand new Betseyville bag, and I loved it so much that I bought one for myself.

As if that wasn’t enough, I decide to go to Metropark, to look for other presents, and I see a Betsey Johnson “Tattoo Chic” bag. This thing is awesome. I had seen it before in the makeup bags, and in the satchel, but I got the “dome satchel”. It’s wonderful. As if finding this thing wasn’t enough, when I got the the counter, it was like, 40% off.

I also ended up at Marshall’s later, and they sell Betsey stuff too!

I would say go to Metropark, and see what’s on sale. I mean, as long as you stick with something other than clothing you’re good (because let’s face it, if I see one more lame dude with gelled hair wearing an Affliction t-shirt, I’m going to vomit).

I’m in the process of moving, and with that comes cleaning the closet. When I call the closet a beast, It is so true. After throwing out many rubbish bags full of clothes, and filling giant Tupperware containers full of things for Goodwill, I still have a massive amount left to sift through.

As I was going through an old box full of things that I never look at, I realized it had the most beautiful pair of gloves sitting in the bottom. I remember taking the gloves from my grandmothers dresser drawer, righ after she died, as I was the only family member with hands small enough to fit them.

They’re perfect. I didn’t need to shop online, or go to a vintage shop, all I needed was to look at what I already had.

So, go to your grandmothers place, and go through her drawers (if she’ll let you). Grab some old gloves, and wear them this season instead of buying new ones.

I will warn you, some of the dresses on the website are made very poorly, and with cheap material. Please know what you are buying when you order so you don’t get stuck with something you don’t like.

First I’m gonna go with Miley Cyrus. So, apparently she’s about to turn 16. I can’t believe she’s even a teenager. She looks great, and her Roberto Cavalli gown is just gorgeous (I love the back of it).

Ok, so this is Taylor Swift in Kaufman Franco. She is super cute, and the dress is amazing! but I think that maybe she should go over to Amy Winehouse’s home and eat some grilled cheese with her. Fatten up little cutie!

Ok, gotta talk about Jewel. She just keeps getting better looking with age. I think she looks just stunning in this Roberto Cavalli dress. This is his second home run of the night!!

Shania Twain looks great in this Missoni dress, and look at those cutie shoes!!! I’m glad she chose something that wasn’t floor length, she looks adorable.

As a general rule, girls named Miranda usually totally rule. I have no idea if Miranda Lambert rules or not, and her Hugo Boss dress is pretty, but it might have been better if she didn’t borrow Mr. T’s jewelry for the evening. Geez. The “necklace” is by Angie Bovaird, and I think it ruined her look.

Ok, this has nothing to do with fashion, but who knew country music has such hotties!!! This is Lady Antebellum. How hot.

Um, did Kelly Pickler steal this dress from a hooker?

Last, but not least, Julianne Hough is wearing a really cool gown with some architectural detailing. This dress is by Angel Sanchez, and I thought it was the best of the night. Her jewelry was beautiful without being distracting, and her clutch is to die for! I loved it!!!
